Marie Cadet-Bouzi, is a Family Nurse Practitioner, educator, and founder of NurseRise Exam Prep. She has 18 years of experience providing direct care to patients, including in emergency medicine, long-term care, and urgent care. She blends clinical expertise with genuine compassion to mentor the next generation of nurses.
Marie’s journey is one of resilience and achievement. After immigrating to the United States, she completed high school and began college the following year—while mastering English as her second language. Over the course of her career, she has successfully passed multiple high-stakes board examinations, including the Respiratory Therapist Board Exam, the NCLEX®, and the Family Nurse Practitioner Board Exam. These milestones not only strengthened her clinical foundation but also equipped her with unique insight and proven strategies to guide others through their own exam journeys with confidence.
Her dedication to education extends far beyond NurseRise. Marie has served as a preceptor for undergraduate nursing students and nurse practitioner students, guiding them as they transition from classroom theory to clinical practice. She has also played a vital role in orienting new graduate nurses, helping them build competence and confidence as they step into professional roles.
Through NurseRise, Marie unites her clinical expertise, teaching experience, and personal story to empower both internationally educated nurses and U.S. nursing graduates.
